Against a swing door, sliding leaves need no clearance arc, which matters in a lobby where the door opens directly into circulation. Against the telescopic version, this is the arrangement for a normal reveal; telescopic exists for openings too narrow to park a full-width leaf beside. Against a hermetic door, this seals as a normal entrance rather than against a pressure differential.
