Where the RFID Parking System fits
Car parks serving people you can issue a tag to: staff parks, gated communities, corporate campuses, industrial sites. UHF long-range tags read at 8 to 10m so authorised vehicles roll through without stopping, which at shift change is the difference between flow and a queue on the road outside.
RFID Parking System vs the alternatives
Against ticketing, tags only work for known vehicles, so visitors still need another route. Against ANPR, tags identify a credential fixed to the vehicle rather than reading a plate, which is more reliable in poor light and weather but requires distributing and managing tags. Many sites run tags for regulars and ANPR or tickets for visitors.
Specifying an RFID Parking System
Tell us how many vehicles need tags and whether visitors use the same lane. Confirm lane geometry and where antennas can be mounted, since read reliability depends on it. Say whether tag data should feed an access or parking system, and how tags will be issued and deregistered as people join and leave.
