Where the Polycarbonate / Transparent Rolling Shutter fits
This is a display-first shutter. It belongs on showroom and mall frontages where the merchandise behind the glass is doing the selling and should keep working after the shutters come down. Aluminium frames carry clear polycarbonate or PVC vision panels, so the opening is closed and secured while remaining genuinely see-through rather than merely perforated.
Polycarbonate / Transparent Rolling Shutter vs the alternatives
Against a perforated curtain, polycarbonate gives a clear view instead of a screened one, and it seals the opening rather than ventilating it. Against a solid shutter, the display value is incomparably better, but the vision panels are polymer rather than steel and will not take the same abuse. It is a shopfront and showroom product, not a product for a bay where vehicles pass.
